"Lost episodes" redirects here. For unaired episodes in general, see Lost episode. The following is a complete episode list for the serial drama series Lost, which began airing on September 22, 2004. In addition to the twenty-four episodes in season one, a special clip show, Lost: The Journey, aired on April 27, 2005 to put the mysteries of the island and the characters in perspective in the lead-up to the season finale. The second and third seasons included six more clip shows to recap the series. The series ended its third season on May 23, 2007. ABC has announced that Lost would end after its sixth season, with seasons four through six each containing 16 hours of episodes, ending with a total of 117 episodes produced.[1] Because of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, only 14 hours of Lost will be produced for season four. On February 28, 2008, it was revealed in the official Lost audio podcast that the time cut from this season would be added to the next two seasons.[2]
As of May 29, 2008, the fourth season finale, 83 episodes of Lost have aired. The first three seasons are available on DVD in Regions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
